“The OZ-06MS Leo is an MS developed using data from the 0Z-00MS Tallgeese, which was the first armed MS to be created. Its most notable difference from the Tallgeese is that the Leo can be piloted by normal soldiers. In addition to being highly productive and versatile, the MS can adapt to both an abundance of armaments and is able to cope with all kinds of missions”

105mm Rifle

A physical projectile weapon and one of the main armaments for the MS. It is often used with both arms and is very accurate. A radar is attached over the muzzle and its cylindrical magazine houses approx. 100 rounds.

Beam Saber

Melee weapons for close range combat. A beam blade is generated from the cylindrical handle. They are said to be effective against even titanium alloy armor.

Shield

Equipped with the same type of circular shield as the OZ-00MS Tallgeese. It is attached to the shoulder with a joint on the back.

A Versatile, (Paper) Mobile Doll

When not in use, the Beam Sabers can be stored on the rear of the Shield.
The 105mm Rifle‘s handle rests vertically and swings out for use ,
The Shield can be mounted on either shoulder or used handheld.
Quinn’s Opinion
A Solid Grunt for a Cheesy Series

+ The model can achieve a wide variety of poses, and is mainly only limited while using the 105mm Rifle with two hands.
+ The versatile Shield gives you options for every pose it feels like a shame to leave it out for a “mass production” look.

– Full loadout & variants like the Space Type are locked behind P-Bandai 😥
– The ankle guards love to dislodge from their socket, but fortunately remain attached due to their design.
– My polycap joints are already super loose (even before posing!), it isn’t as fragile as in the show but expect to reattach wrists & the torso/waist joint fairly often while posing.
– The plastic gets stress marks fairly easily, but it being so soft also means they’re easy to work out with a file or nail.

The HG Leo snaps together super quick and the runners are laid out in such a way that the limbs are mostly next to each other (and the instructions actually show you where the parts are located at on the runner, which is unusual). I had a nice time building it in ~2 sessions during a stressful time.
Despite the cons I really do like this kit and once you’ve got it in a pose there is a lot to take in and admire.
