“An all-purpose mass-production unit manufactured by Peil Technologies, known for their prowess at developing airborne mobile suits. Despite its massive upper body, the Zowort can achieve flight without the aid of an additional flight unit thanks to the lightweight chassis, and the triangular thrusters mounted to its back and legs. The Zowort was primarily developed using aeronautics as a basis. It was built with mid- to long-range combat in mind. However, it does not have any defensive armaments, which is why pilots assigned to Zoworts are often instructed to engage enemies at a distance and try to evade incoming attacks. Still, there are some pilots who squeeze out all the unit’s potential and get in close during combat. “
Mobile Suit Equipment

Vectored Boosters
Additional propulsion unit connected to the unit’s back. One of the Zowort’s optional pieces of equipment, it improves the unit’s airspeed and increases its cruising radius.

Beam Gun
A standard firearm for Zoworts. The weapon features a short barrel, but superior beam convergence allows for long-range combat. Each portion of the gun features streamlined shapes, designed with aerodynamics in mind.

Beam Saber
Close-range weaponry housed in both of the Zowort’s forearms. When in use, the sabers’ mount latches slide forward.

Quinn’s Opinion
Mass Produced But Still Mint
Cheers:
+ I like the streamlined and aerodynamic proportions; the design feels realistic and practical.
+ The parts that make up the air intake areas on the chest & backpack have gaps that fill with natural shadows and look spectacular.
Cons:
– The model kit doesn’t include a foil sticker for the sensor in the Beam Gun. I appreciate it would have been the only sticker included on the sheet and Metallic Green is a staple color for me to have on hand. However, not everybody paints and the absent color is very noticeable without it.
– In the anime the Vectored Boosters are able to rotate at a variety of angles, however the model has them limited to vertical rotation. It is mildly limiting, but on the flip side it inspires me to modify the kit in the future with a ball joint.
– The knee joint barely stays connected while getting the model into the kneeling pose required for riding atop a Tickbalang. This is due to the length of the peg and the side skirt armor pushing the hip joint out of socket once the leg is at an extreme angle. Once you get the pose figured out everything else is ready you can reattach the limb as you get the model into place.
Closing thoughts:
The Zowort was the first High Grade I completed start-to-finish on the same day. It was an odd feeling even though I know I didn’t rush anything. I had previously built the Pharact which made me familiar with the frame.
Even though I listed a few cons and the build process is straightforward it was still very enjoyable and the model is a lot of fun to pose.
